Google Analytics collects information such as the number of visitors, the pages they view and how long they stay. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site. Google may process this information outside your country, including in the United States; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Consent and your rights by location
We apply the same opt-in approach for every visitor: analytical cookies stay off until you choose to accept them, and you can withdraw that choice at any time. Local law adds the following.
United Kingdom
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR, we must get your consent before placing any cookie that is not strictly necessary. Consent must be a clear, active choice, which is why our banner offers Accept, Reject and Settings with equal prominence. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Australia
Where information collected through cookies can identify you, we handle it as personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
India
Where cookies collect digital personal data, we rely on your consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, through the cookie settings on our site. Grievances can be raised with our grievance contact named in our Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not work as intended. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
